Our Story
The Heart Behind ÌJỌBA
ÌJỌBA was born out of my own personal journey with God.
Like many people, I grew up in church. I knew about God, attended services, and considered myself a believer. Yet despite being familiar with the faith, my relationship with Him remained largely surface-level. I knew about God, but I had not truly come to know Him through His Word.
For years, I relied on what others taught me about Scripture while spending very little time studying it for myself. Then, in obedience to God's leading, I began creating Scripture-based reflection messages. What started as a simple act of obedience became an invitation to study the Bible more deeply and within its proper context.
As I spent time reading, researching, and reflecting on Scripture, God's Word began transforming my heart, renewing my mind, and drawing me into a genuine relationship with Him. Through that process, I discovered a simple but life-changing truth:
There is no way to truly know God apart from His Word.
The Bible is more than a collection of stories, verses, or religious principles. It is God's revelation of Himself. Through it, we learn His character, understand His heart, recognize His voice, and grow in our relationship with Him.
ÌJỌBA was created from that realization.
My prayer is that this space encourages others to slow down, engage Scripture intentionally, and discover for themselves the life-changing power of knowing God through His Word. Whether you are new to the faith, returning after a long season away, or simply longing to grow deeper, my hope is that ÌJỌBA serves as an invitation to sit with Him, hear from Him, and be transformed by His truth.
